Lost Property Policy

It is the responsibility of those attending a Barefoot Sport event to ensure their property is looked after and taken with them at the end of the event.

It is the responsibility of those attending a Barefoot Sport event to ensure their property is looked after and taken with them at the end of the event. Barefoot Sport accepts no responsibility for the loss, or theft of any property. 

Anything left behind and found during or at the end of an event is collected by staff and treated in the following manner: 

  • All stored items are logged in a lost property register. 
  • If the owner can be easily identified our staff will contact the person to let them know we have their item.
  • Any items of significant value* will be given to Police.
  • Any perishable items, property of insignificant value*, or significantly soiled/smelly* items will be discarded.

Storage and holding periods: 

  • We will hold all stored lost property for one month. 
  • After one month the property will either donated to a local charity or op shop.
